@scarpana is having a big sale, and that sounds like a good time to tell you about my absolute new faves this year! My street shoe is an 8.5, for reference. For indoor climbing, including comps, I adore the Furia Air (shoutout to @james_von_b for recommending!) They're so sticky on volumes it's like cheating. I have a 39 for training and a 38.5 for comps, though I was having some foot issues and competed in the 39 a bit this summer too! They're soft as butter, so you may need some time to get your feet and calves ready for the extra load. My new outdoor gem is the Vapor Slipper. I've never been able to fit the instinct right, but boy oh boy is the Vapor S a quiver killer. In 38.5 they crushed Euro sport routes and ate up Tensleep face. I'm going to try them in 39.5 for creek style crack. I removed the lace system and rock them as true slippers. A note about Vapors - The velcro, lace, and now slipper all fit and perform a little different. Try them all out! Scarpa is 20-40% off now all shoes and some ski boots through September 10th. GET IT!
