We are thrilled to share that one of our amazing students, Dipta, won The Iris Project prize for his innovative @liquify_bali project providing innovative water solutions and education to Bali communities Dipta's drive to create sustainable solutions for the global water problem is inspiring and a perfect example of problem solving with a local-to-global lens, by identifying solutions to problems in your immediate community before expanding those solutions to other contexts. To continue his momentum following this award, Dipta will be expanding the ripple effect by hosting liquify workshops/classes, donating Liquify books, and implementing recharge wells, biopores, water catchment systems, and gravity filters for local communities around Bali. Liquify is also making merchandise from upcycled materials, that will be available soon. At Green School, we believe that part of educating a sustainable world is developing students' skills, habits, and attitudes to own their learning and impact the world.
