Join Connie Smith and others at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on Thurs 9/21 for “Hank’s 100th: A Concert in Celebration of Hank Williams,” a special concert in honor of what would’ve been Hank Williams’s 100th birthday, presented by Spotify and part of AmericanaFest. Details: countrymusichalloffame.org This concert will feature a diverse representation of the Americana community. Country Music Hall of Fame members Charlie McCoy and Connie Smith as well as Suzy Bogguss, Laura Cantrell, Della Mae, Rodney Crowell, S.G. Goodman, Brennen Leigh, Delbert McClinton, Chuck Mead, Wendy Moten, Williams’s grandchildren Hilary Williams, Holly Williams, and Sam Williams, and more to be announced will perform interpretations of Williams classics in various styles, from honky-tonk to bluegrass to rock to R&B. “Fabulous Superlative” Chris Scruggs will lead the house band.
