Latest Breakthrough for space enthusiasts! We have a Visitor !!! Hideo Nishimura, a Japanese amateur astronomer, discovered what is now known as Comet C/2023 P1 (Nishimura) on 12 August. It would make its closest approach to Earth on 12/13 September at a distance of 78m miles (125m km). The peak of brightness is expected for September 17, and on September 18, the comet will reach its minimum distance from the Sun, 43vto 34 million km. Comet Nishimura could become potentially observable with the naked eye in the coming days, from 9 to 10th September before dawn, and also September 17 could be the best moment. Astronomers suggest trying to look for it immediately after sunset and before sunrise . Although it is better to use binoculars or a small telescope, it's clear that the skies must be dark and without light pollution. The comet's tail will appear green.
