𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄'𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 Dr. Adrian Cheng (@adriancheng), the founder of K11 Art Foundation, has today announced the formation of K11 Art Foundation International Council, which committed to nurturing the next generation of Asian artists and promoting dialogue and collaborations that transcend borders. Dr. Alia Al-Senussi, appointed as the Chairperson of the Council, will join hands with other influential Council members, including Basma Al Sulaiman, founder of the BASMOCA (@basmoca); Sarah Arison (@saraharison), president of the Arison Arts Foundation; Eugenio Sandretto Re Rebaudengo (@eugeniorerebaudengo) and Olga Re Rebaudengo (@olgarerebaudengo), Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo (@fondazionesandretto); and Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo (@patriziasandrettorerebaudengo), president of the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo (@fondazionesandretto) to foster a global art community where diverse perspectives converge and inspire one another. The Council will convene during significant artworld moments and landmark cultural events. Among their initial objectives is the formation of a new art award to recognise emerging artists from across Asia and celebrate the rich diversity of contemporary art from across the region.
