Now for something a little bit different from my usual needle felting posts. I’ve outgrown my craft room, in fact you could say I’ve started to taken over the house. Thankfully, I have the most understanding family. They have been with me every step of the way as I dreamt of turning my creative hobbies into something that would provide a small wage. This was especially challenging over lockdown and like many other creative dreamers, I managed to survive this awful period with tears and lots of determination. I had to reinvent my offer, working ridiculous hours, asking makers to put their belief in what I could do to help them improve their needle felting techniques. I am eternally grateful to all of my wonderful members from around the world, makers who have purchased felting kits and to my followers for allowing me to do what I love! As my business continues to grow we’ve decided to build a garden studio. To say I am excited is a bit of an understatement. The reality is we only have a small budget to do this and big ideas. My husband has been working so hard to create an amazing workspace for me and I wanted to share the journey with you. Please feel free to share any helpful advice or ideas of how we can achieve this much needed space.
