#HSMTMTS stars Frankie Rodriguez, Sofia Wylie, and Joshua Bassett were asked to share their favorite Disney story from across the decades with #DisneyD23 in their latest special commenmorative issue. #Disney100 🏰❤️ • “One of my earliest memories of Disney magic is every year my parents would take me and my sister to go see Disney On Ice. It was my favorite, because I would always come home with a souvenir (thanks, Dad!). But what left the biggest impact was the theatrics of it all. I loved the costumes, the sets, the flying, and, of course, the music… Me and my sister would act out what we saw on the ice rink. I guess you could say my first acting gig was in my living room.” -Frankie Rodriguez “When I was really little, I had to overcome my fear of going on the ride Pirates of the Caribbean. I was terrified to go on the ride for some reason. In order to get me anywhere close to the ride, my mom told me that there were no big dips, which there were, and I was so mad at first that she tricked me. But then I looked over at her and told her that I wanted to go again. This experience taught me that things are usually scarier in anticipation. You can achieve and accomplish anything if you can push past the fear of doing it.” -Sofia Wylie “My five sisters and I used to rehearse and perform a full reenactment of Fantasmic! for any relatives or neighbors that would watch, in which I played Mickey.
