Sweata weatha 🧡 #🌈teddy Sharing an old favorite today while I try and play catch-up this weekend. We ended this week on a high note with Leo’s genetics results. The genetics team found no mutations 😭🎗️While we celebrate this amazing news, it also leaves us and his medical team a little stumped as to what is happening with Leo. From what we know, there’s only one other person that has a case similar to Leo’s within the U.S. Leo has had acute lymphoblastic leukemia twice now, and the genetic makeup of this last leukemia is completely different than the first. It wasn’t a relapse, and it wasn’t caused by previous chemo treatment. Further, genetics is still very new and we might not ever have answers. I do believe he will always be someone who is at a much higher risk for repeated cancers, but we will do everything we can to make sure he doesn’t have to go through this again 🎗️🧡 He’s doing much better overall than he was at the beginning of the week, and we plan to lay low this entire weekend, get outside a little and make a whole lotta soup!
