Worth It? #67 Blancpain x Swatch Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms And so finally after so much speculation, the actual watches have been revealed. I've been hearing a lot of negative buzz particularly around prices of this new release. Frankly, there's a lot of merit in the arguments put forward about the prices being high. However, I think there are many ways to view this from, and I hope my very simple infographic illustrates a different lens. Do I like the Blancpain x Swatch release? I genuinely think they did a great job with the design and execution - better than I could ever imagine. Will I buy one? Nope - but mainly because it isn't #tinywristtribe friendly. Do I think it is worth it? All things considered, I'm on the fence but leaning more towards the ideology that I can't argue with the price. Yes, there are proper dive watches you can get for less - but frankly, I opine the ones making these comments don't realize - but they aren't the target market for these pieces. We watch enthusiasts really only make a tiny drop in the ocean in the market that has gobbled up the Moonswatch release. So the verdict is really up to them, not us! Disagree?
