Feature Friday #QOTD: what's a favorite winter activity of yours? Ashlee: If it must be outdoors, I like sledding, snowboarding (not at all any good at it), and ice skating (also not any good) Michelle: Growing up in a really snowy state, I loved all the sledding hills! From @bookswithnopictures: I adore workplace romances! Maybe it's the bit of the forbidden that gets me. Tie that in with a hugemongous unrequited crush and I'm a goner. Mackenzie is up for a promotion but so is her longtime office heartthrob, Jeremy. Their boss is a sucker for the holidays and past history dictates that the biggest show of holiday spirit gets the reward. Bring on the tinsel and gingerbread! Overall this is a sweet romance with a delightful MC duo. It's a quick, one-sitting kind of read sure to give you the cozy heartwarming feels perfect for the upcoming season. From @just_talking_to_my_shelf: My favorite part of this one was the subplot surrounding everyone’s favorite holiday traditions. I loved getting a peek into different ways to celebrate and each character’s holiday memories. I enjoyed this book and would love to revisit these characters again. It was a sweet read and touched on some great themes like mental health and family. I really loved this book’s treatment of the MCs anxiety. So often in the church you hear that you should pray the worry away and that someone with strong faith can’t struggle with anxiety, which is just not true. ♥️ Thank you to Bethany House for the #gifted copies.
