My first solo backpacking trip 🥾🌲☀️ At the beginning of this year I decided that I wanted to do more solo things, and that included doing a backpacking trip. I finally felt like I had gone on enough trips with Logan and friends to feel comfortable going alone, so I decided on a 2 night mini thru hike. It ended up being one of my favorite trips of this year. Was I scared? Yes… but like a ✨healthy✨ amount There’s nothing settling about being alone in the wilderness, miles from the nearest trailhead, but that was part of what I wanted to experience. The first night was eerily quiet, my tent didn’t even make a single movement from wind 😅 Then the second night was suuuper windy. I didn’t get much sleep either night lol I jumped in a lake, had long lunch breaks and enjoyed my time being in the middle of no where ⛰️ Oh and there were a few groups of ladies hiking together who hyped me up and it was the sweetest thing 🥹 Thank you to @the_adventureaddicts and @akstle for helping me plan the route and giving me recs 🫶🏼 #womenwhoexplore #solobackpacker #backpacking #hikingadventures
