BLUE HOUR TO BLUE HOUR... This was shot a couple nights ago up in the mountains here in Southern Oregon. This has become a place I go to be alone. A place I go to escape the world and its choas. Just a man alone in the wilderness tumbling through space. It's wild to think all the thousands of places I've been where I've been as isolated as this, sound asleep after a long day of work / exploring. In the beginning of the lapse you see me get back to the truck after a long hike and setting up the lapse. My headlamp spikes the camera as I look for potential animals as I pack up my gear. Then as we spin madly on, a PB&h was ingested while the documentary about Mr Rodgers played from my lap top. Right before the moon rise I turn out the lights and drift off. Bathed in star dust I charge peacefully excited for the upcoming morning and what this timelapse might end up becoming. I'm happy with it. Enjoy the rotation of the planet to a beautiful song. Hold your phone sideways and imagine gravity holding us on the planet as we rocket through space and time.
