Remember it's not the number on the scale that matters. It's body recomp 🔥🔥 Are you actively lowering your body fat and increasing your lean muscle mass? The scale won't tell you this. . How do you know if you're doing these things without getting a deca scan done? 👉🏼 Take progress pics to gauge changes in your aesthetic 👉🏼 Track your body measurements to see if you're losing inches 👉🏼 Look at your diet to ensure you're consistently getting at least .7 of your body weight in protein each day. 👉🏼 Check how your clothes are fitting . Remember muscle is very dense so it weighs the same as fat but it takes up less space. Having more muscle on your body will lower the percentage of your mass that is body fat. Having lower body fat places less stress on your heart lowering your risk for heart disease, diabetes, certain cancers and other diseases. . You can actually GAIN weight and look leaner and be healthier and FEEL AMAZING! Take myself for instance. You may have seen in my earlier posts that I purposely gained over 20lbs of weight but I've never had more lean muscle mass on my body than I do now. I actually fill my clothes out BETTER and I've never had to buy bigger clothes. I'm still wearing clothes from over 10 years ago 🫣 (I don't like to part with what I love!) In fact, if you looked at me you would never guess what I weigh or that my weight changed that drastically.
