Isn’t it a beautiful thing when the universe offers you a repeat of a previous life experience and in that moment you now have the awareness to witness the sliding door moving in real time. That thing (person/situation/experience/vice) which you could so easily slip back into becomes so apparently not aligned for your current self… It’s in these moments when you have the realisation that the ‘thing’ that used to trigger so much activation in your nervous system, and most likely suffering, no longer has power over you anymore. Rather than being magnetised towards, your body, your being, pulls and repels away this time around, you listen, and you consciously choose to step away and close that door. That’s healing. That’s growth. That’s the real cause for celebration. This is the inner work I’ve been doing…imperfectly but consistently committing to… To become witness to myself, To create safety and land in my body, To consciously choose.
