تیم المپیک ایران نزدیک به ۴۸ سال نتوانسته به مسابقات فوتبال المپیک راه یابد. اما رسیدن به این بازیها هیچوقت آسون نبوده، چون فقط ۳تیم از قاره آسیا جواز حضور در تورنمنت فوتبال المپیک را بدست می‌آورند. در سالیان اخیر مربیانی چون غلامحسین‌پیروانی، علیرضا‌منصوریان، هومن‌افاضلی، نلو‌وینگادا، محمد‌خاکپور، زلاتکو‌کرانچار، فرهاد‌مجیدی، حمید‌استیلی و مهدی مهدوی‌کیا در مقطعی سرمربی تیم‌المپیک (امید) شدند،ولی همه آنها عدم حمایت مسئولان را احساس کردند و با مشکل بازیکن ندادن باشگاهها هم روبرو بودند. آرزوی موفقیت برای رضا‌عنایتی و شاگردانش که آنها هم با چنین مشکلی مواجه هستند #فوتبال #فوتبال_ایران #تیم_المپیک #امید #رضا عنایتی
