💫 Losing sleep over this book and I'd do it again. One For My Enemy is probably in the top books I've read this year. A loose retelling of Romeo and Juliet but with magic and set in a modern world, and not one but two couples each with their own angsty all consuming poetic love story. The way this book is written, the way the story unfolds, the way these love stories have you in a chokehold, I was consumed and couldn't stop reading. Couldn't recommend this book enough, especially for a rainy night of escaping into a strange world full of magic and romance. I need my physical copy to re-read again and again just to keep experiencing this book.
