Château Rayas 2006 🍷 When can we consider that a wine is too expensive? Not long ago, when I was complaining about the price of a bottle in a restaurant, a friend told me "it's not the wine that's too expensive, it's you who isn't rich enough.” Good point. Reflecting on this delicious Château Rayas tasted at @pointrouge_bdx , I note that the bottle which use to cost around 300 euros on the market two years ago rose to €1,500 after two auctions spaced a month apart in London and Hong Kong. Should I complain about this? I don't know. After all, I will be the first to rejoice at making a huge capital gain on my apartment thanks to the explosion of real estate prices. Like everyone. In the meantime, we can still enjoy the Côtes du Rhône « Château des Tours » which is still at a reasonable price.
