PLACES TO VISIT THAT ARE JUST AN HOUR AWAY FROM BIRMINGHAM - COVENTRY📍 Let's be honest, Coventry seems to get a lot of hate, but I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised by it! Especially considering it's only a 35-minute drive from Birmingham or a 25-minute train ride from Birmingham New Street. Coventry is a city in central England, known for the medieval Coventry Cathedral, which was left in ruins after a WWII bombing. A 20th-century replacement, with abstract stained glass, stands beside it and is truly incredible to see! But that's not all Coventry has to offer. From plenty of history and fantastic museums to explore, to many quirky independents and unique dining experiences, @tales_of_tea_ is an absolute must if you're looking for an afternoon tea with a difference. How about trying out the famous Biang Biang noodles at @bibnoodlebar or enjoying cocktails at @covtelhotel rooftop bar? The last time I went to Coventry was years ago when I was 16, and I could only find a Costa. So, in my eyes, Coventry has greatly improved and is worth a day trip out with the family!
