In a state of compete confusion about my hair and everything else tbh! Growing it out a little bit (not long, never long!) and can’t stop thinking about when I was bald. That version of Ella feels like so long ago! And also doesn’t feel like me as who I am now, but it’s the person I was when I built this platform. It was me at the time but it’s not me now and I find it wild that you can change so much in the space of a year or two. I find that my autism brain finds that really hard to deal with whereas the ADHD thrives off the chaos of not having a set way of being. Being autistic, I think it can be so easy to get stuck in the same things (not that that is a bad thing at all) but it can mean that opportunities get missed in my world because I’m scared of change. If you’d told me a year ago that I was wearing dresses more often than trousers I’d have laughed. If you’d told me last year that I was wearing butterflies in my hair and actually using tampons (😂) I’d have told you to get lost. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that my ADHD diagnosis has also been paired with huge amounts of change and chaos in my life.
