피불라는 장식적일 뿐만 아니라 옷을 고정하는 실용적인 목적도 있는 고대 형태의 브로치입니다. 북아프리카 전역에서 사용되며, 특히 모로코 아틀라스 산맥 지역은 거대하고 다양한 종류의 피불라가 있는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 베르베르 여성들은 독특한 장신구를 착용함으로써 그들의 정체성을 보존하는데 필수적인 역할을 합니다. 어깨에 "tizerzai"라고 알려진 거대한 삼각형 모양의 피불라 한 쌍을 착용하는데 여러 겹의 옷을 고정하기 위해서 입니다. 피불라는 체인과 칠보로 화려하게 장식된 "히르즈(hirz)" 상자로 서로 연결되어 있고 착용자를 악의 기운, 위험 또는 질병으로부터 보호하기 위한 부적의 역할을 합니다. 역삼각형 모양은 여성을 상징하며 다산성을 강조합니다. 전통적인 베르베르인의 장신구 대부분은 순결과 경건함을 상징하는 은으로 만들어졌습니다✨ The fibula is an ancient form of brooch which is not only decorative, but also has a practical purpose as a fastener for clothing. It is used throughout North Africa, and Anti-Atlas and High Atlas regions in Morocco are known for the profusion and variety of their outsize fibulas. The Berber women play an essential role in preserving their ethnic identity by wearing their distinctive jewellery. They wear a pair of the massive triangular shaped fibula known as “tizerzai” at the shoulders to attach a garment to the dress. The fibulas are connected together by a chain and a “hirz” amulet box, which is ornately decorated with green and yellow enamel representing nature and sun. Some amulets contain sacred texts or substances to protect the wearer from evil forces, danger or illness. The inverted triangular shape symbolizes the female form and emphasizes female fertility.
