Wee man’s 1st Birthday Party was a success! 🌤️🛩️🫧🎂🥇🧿 It’s been a week since Kai turned one plus all the festivities, so we needed these past few days just to…Recover! Planning kids birthday parties is new to us and damn was it hectic! One of Kai’s favourite things to do is plane spot and another is playing in our backyard, so it was a no brainer to combine the two when throwing his airplane themed party. Organizing everything took the entire month, but it turned out great. All our family in Scotland joined to celebrate our wee man and the day went pretty smooth. Most importantly, Kai boy had a blast. The Scottish Gods were also shining down on us too because after a torrential couple of weeks, that Saturday was absolutely perfect with sunshine all day + mild temps. Having an outdoor gathering in Scotland can mean 4 seasons in a few hours, so that made it even more special! When planning big events that are milestone so many people forget to have fun & be in the moment, so I’m happy we had time to see our little dude enjoy his loved ones, some treats and even some plane spotting!
