Beastie 🖤 Many of our animals come from zoos and households… all of them from the illicit pet trade. They come with their own traumas, both physical and psychological. When receiving Beastie we were unsure of his future. He was heavily abused, neglected without proper care and nutrition during the first vital months of his life. It seemed impossible that he would learn to trust us, even enough to give him the proper space or care to survive. But here he is, growing and learning in the jungle, becoming a “normal” jaguar. He’s on the right track to be released when the time comes, and we couldn’t be more proud of this wild boy! #wildliferehab #jaguar #rewilding
