Here are three unique aspects that my fiancé and I are incorporating into our wedding day - and you could too! It’s never too early to start these traditions. We started our first year of dating and have continued to accumulate these items. Any of these three ideas will make your wedding day more personalized and unique, while also helping your wedding budget. By starting these traditions early, you spread any costs across a longer timeframe. By the time you’re engaged or by your wedding date, you’ll already have lots of unique decor to incorporate into your special day! 1. Yearbooks. We’re likely using our yearbooks at our welcome party since it’s more casual. If we had them rebound, they’d also be great at our rehearsal dinner or wedding. 2. Corks. We’ll be using our corks in our catering displays. We opted for an Italian inspired menu and our catering team specializes in fun displays, so we’re definitely sprinkling our corks throughout the displays. 3. Flower confetti. I’ll be mixing my dried flowers into confetti for our recessional toss. We’ll likely have this and an explanation typed out at our welcome table for guests to taken when they arrive. I’m super sentimental so being surrounded by pieces of our relationship and the celebrations that brought us to our wedding day makes it feel that much more special.
