🌟What’s in a colour? Well, joy for starters - this journey has been an absolute blast! It’s been about confidence, connections and an amazing tribe of likeminded women and healthy hair. I started my silver journey five years ago and have never looked back. But here are 10 things I didn’t expect… 1. To have regular hair conversations in the street/shops about my hair colour (so many conversations!) 2. That no group of women love their hair colour as much as Silver Sisters. AmIright? 3. To wear hats every day and not be able to pass a hat shop without trying them on - IYKYK! 😂 4. To virtually abandon my heated hair tools because their blistering heat could ‘yellow’ my silvers… 5. The texture to change so much - who knew my ’straight’ hair had a sneaky curl? 6. That people (and women - shockingly) would have so many negative comments to make about a hair colour they will all have one day. 7. That silver hair would be the brightest, most visible and dynamic of hair colours, and, handily, that my husband can now see me coming a mile off. 8. For it to have started a chain reaction of great happenings in my life. 9. That questions about the best shampoo and conditioner for silver hair would be my most asked question in DMs 😂 and 10.
