Introducing the first ride Pokémon, and I know a pirate ship Dhelmise evo isn’t a crazy unique idea but for a pirate themed Pokémon project, it was too perfect not to do 🏴‍☠️ ⚓️ - Keelhaunt (keelhaul+haunt) The Shipwreck Pokémon Ghost/Grass type Ability: Steelworker/Swift Swim (HA) - In the Cocara Islands, battles between pirates were all too common, and more times than not the losing crew’s ship would sink below the waves. Dhelmise often find these sunken wrecks and start growing their seaweed bodies all over it, causing them to evolve. Keelhaunt can commonly be seen on foggy nights, gliding across the water with an eerie silence. Apparently they slumber on the ocean floor during the day. - Keelhaunt’s signature move is the new Ghost type move Tangling Souls. The user ensnares the target with ghostly seaweed, dealing 70 Special damage and lowering the targets Speed stat. - Based on ghost ships and the Flying Dutchman, which had me tempted to make Keelhaunt also be the flying ride Pokémon lmao.
