⚡️☀️⚡️ The Lazza-touille! There’s nothing better than using home grown produce from your friends at work. This pizza is all thanks to my friend @lausmithers (Lazza!) who brought in some gorgeous tomatoes and courgettes for me and my family. So this one goes out to Lazza! Thank you! The Pizza deets: - Grana Padano - A swirl of homemade basil oil - Sliced fresh tomatoes - A few slices of Mozzarella Bake for around 30secs until the base has set, the crusts have puffed up and begin to brown. Then remove from the oven and add…. - Courgette strips, thinly sliced with a potato peeler, brushed with olive oil, salted and sprinkled with Calabrian chilli flakes, then seared very quickly on my Ooni Grizzler pan (to get some nice grill char marks!) Add these to the pizza then… - Return the pizza to the oven and finish off until you are happy with your crusts - Remove from oven and top with freshly torn Burrata - Spoon on your freshly made Macadamia and basil pesto (See my last reel for recipe) Devour, enjoy, shed a little tear when it’s all over! This was summer on a pizza, and I can’t tell you how good the pesto was on top too with its crunchy, nutty, texture. A cracking meat free pizza this and well worth trying if you fancy it.
