My son developed very intense anxiety out of nowhere last spring. It’s been a rollercoaster ever since. We have gone to doctors and are working with them on it. But I knew there was 1 thing I could do immediately to help him. THIS ROOM! I am a big believer in your surroundings affecting your mental health! Your home and especially your bedroom should be a space that gives you comfort and safety. His had really gotten out of control. (The first clip was after I pulled everything out of the closets. I promise he wasn’t living with it like that.😂) We added in elements that are important to him and things he loves! Like, the wood sword him and his dad made. 🗡️Also, the little vintage loveseat I got for FREE!! The beautiful weighted blanket #gifted from @mybearaby has already made a huge difference. The weight in them feels like a hug and helps reduce anxiety. It helps promote deeper sleep and stress relief. Which he desperately has needed.
