- HOW TO PASSWORD PROTECT YOUTUBE ON YOUR SMART TV - If you like me struggle with the come down of your kids having access to YouTube and would prefer to not have it in your life, then here's a quick tutorial (as so many of you requested last night on stories) on how I password block it on my smart TV. . The kids watch Netflix and TV but I have always limited access to YouTube as I find lots of the content inappropriate, unsuitable and as my kids get older it's getting easier for them to browse and navigate things I'd prefer them not to be watching. If the options are my kids playing with a toy or my kids watching another child play with a toy on YouTube, I choose option A 🫣 . Navigating the world of online with young kids is a minefield and sometimes being the zero craic parent who has restrictions in place until an age or stage that you as a parent feel is appropriate can be a tough gig. It's hard not to succumb to peer pressure and what everyone else is doing. But you know your child best and what works for you as a family. We can't control time but we can control how our kids spend it - and for as long as I have a say in it, I'd prefer them to be creating, playing and learning in a hands on way as much as possible 😊 . #lifewithtinyhumans #screentime #youtube
