Tonight we have had a Tesco shop delivered organised by a wonderful charity called Bertie’s helpers. The gorgeous Bertie passed away from Batten Disease 4 years ago today 💔 His parents Mimi and Andrew set up this charity in his memory to support families suffering from this terrible disease. Thank you so much to Liz from the @bdfabattendisease for nominating us for a delivery. It has come at the perfect time, this last few weeks have been a struggle so to know that there is food in the house is one less thing to worry about. Mimi has thought of everything, she is amazing, she follows our journey and know exactly what our kids like and love. She has thought of everything from meals for Ollie, Amelia’s favourite chocolates, cakes to fresh fruit, veg and meat for our older boys. Renesmee even has her favourite milkshakes! ❤️ Honestly it is practical support like this that makes all the difference to our daily life, Mimi and Andrew know this first hand.
