Crispy cauliflower with pasta and mustard croutons for us tonight, from Bee Wilson’s @kitchenbee ‘s beautiful new book, The Secret of Cooking. It was absolutely delicious, easy to make, comforting, just what we needed. Loved the crispy cauliflower with zingy capers, lemon zest, chilli flakes - the sourdough croutons with Dijon mustard adds a lovely crunch too, delicious flavours and textures. I am a big fan of Bee’s writing and work, and this book is a gem; it is more than a collection of easy, doable, delicious recipes - there is the wisdom, great tips for making one’s life easier and more pleasurable in the kitchen, kindness and so much more (and we share a love for lemons - loved the section, “This needs lemon”; as Bee says, “we should talk of salt and lemon as the two universal seasonings” - so agree 🍋 Congratulations Bee, for this beautiful book- such a pleasure to pick up and read, as well as cooking from it x #beewilson #thesecretofcooking #cauliflower #crispycauliflower #pasta #lemon #easypasta #vegetarianrecipes
