Tubeworks 4.12 10+ Update. Second day of testing with Pat Gailey @pg1095 @rpo_motorsports Saturday September 9th. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Focus: To determine if there is a speed and or efficiency loss in our TW10+ gear in comparison to a standard 10” gear with same final drive ratios, same TW CrossTie X case, same oil, same day test. Results: 30 degrees lower average, 17 degrees lower peak operating temps at same air temperature, no loss of speed. How is the possible? Our theory is this: Because our tooth length is 50% longer, we actually have 3 teeth in contact vs. 2 which results in lower pressure per sq inch with same input torque, and the same initial rolling resistance on both 3rds.
