You’ve heard of Split and Dubrovnik…but have you heard of Šibenik? This stunning coastal city is a must visit and somewhere I’d personally never heard of when I visited! From the historic city centre, to glorious boat rides through the Krka National Park, to the most stunning monasteries, Šibenik was like something out of a fairytale. Here are some of my favourite spots: TO VISIT Krka Monastery - the most beautiful monastery I’ve ever seen. Make sure you take a walk down the valley to the river. Krka National Park - I recommend booking a boat trip for this as it takes you all through the park and to the key spots, as well as all of the significant waterfalls. Visovac Monastery - set on an island in the middle of the park, this place is so magical. Šibenik City Centre - take a wander through the old town and admire the architecture. TO EAT @barakawinery - a stunning vineyard with beautiful views and excellent food and wine. @dalmatia_sea_food - located overlooking the river, this unassuming spot is a must visit if you love oysters. Probably the best oysters I’ve ever tasted and the prices are so reasonable too! @konobavidrovaca - this beautiful little tavern is located in a small bay in Krka National Park and is only accessible via boat. It was my favourite meal we had on this trip - perfect authentic Croatian food. Have you ever visited?
