That’s the price you pay… because these are not for sale. Every so often I get asked (95% of the time about these designs) if I will sell the finished hoops instead of just kits and patterns. Every 👏🏼 single 👏🏼 time I respond with “sure I’d be willing to sell if you are willing to invest in my art. It will be X amount,” they’re out. They never respond. So no, I don’t sell finished products and I often won’t respond to requests for them because they never pan out. I don’t know why as artists we feel the need to sell ourselves short! As a graphic designer, I never felt bad about quoting my hourly rate, but as a fiber artist, I struggle to feel like I deserve that same rate. It’s nonsense, truly.
