Cooking a meal in every state: California 19/50 🍝: manicotti 👩‍🍳: @serafina_gargiulo On my trip to San Diego @auzi.films introduced me to @serafina_gargiulo and we went out to a park to ask strangers some of the questions we all have. In doing this you really understand that everyone you pass has a story and unique perspective on life. This exercise also helps us learn how to actually listen and not just respond. Making this meal reminded of what it was like to be out on my own having to learn the recipes of my childhood to fall back on in times of comfort. You don’t realize how many things you actually need until well you need them. There is something about entering independence when you realize how little you know. I got to experience little Italy for some coffee and deserts and somehow ran into one of the guys she Interviewed. Huge thanks to her dad for giving us an amazing recipe.
