Homemade cheese spread, paryushan friendly! Save now! You can make market style cheese spread at home with just 5-6 simple ingredients and it genuinely tastes super duper amazing. This is a multi use spread and you can also melt it and use it as a cheese sauce for nachos and fondue and to top up your dishes too. All you need is : - 1 litre full cream milk. - Juice of 3 lemons (you may need more or less too). - 1 packet plain eno fruit salt. - 2 tbsp water. - a pinch of salt. - a pinch of turmeric powder (optional). - 1 tbsp ghee. - 1 tbsp milk while blending. You can also add some pepper or chilli flakes or herbs to it if you like. Store it in an air right container in the fridge for 7-8 days. Please note : just the cheese spread is paryushan friendly and not the bread. You can have it with simple aata puris or cheela also. Also, every family has their own way of following paryushan with different set of rules as to what’s allowed and what’s not allowed. Incase you don’t consume lemon, you can use homemade slightly warm Dahi (curd) to tear the milk too. Do try this recipe soon.
