#thankfulthursday In just one week I will be heading to Reno!! I am beyond thankful to have a lifetime opportunity to represent my great state of Tennessee at the 2023 Miss Teen USA pageant. We have fifty teens coming together to make history. I am so honored to be part of such an awesome group of young women. Sometimes people ask me why I started pageantry a couple of years ago. Well a couple of years ago I would have said it looks fun and I want to try something new. Today if you asked me why I have continued pageantry it would be a much different response. It is so much fun but it’s so much more than that. Pageantry is a true sisterhood. The friendships are real! Girls from different systems from all over the country come together to support other girls. It’s truly not just a competition. Also, these young women change the world! I have never met a group of girls that do so much work and accomplish so much for their communities.
