💰 EMERGENCY FUND UPDATE 💰 If you’re anything like me, building up an emergency fund seems to be a never ending goal 😅 I can’t even count the amount of times I’ve set a goal, gotten soooo close (or even reached it) and a month or two later it’s back to the beginning again. I know that having an emergency fund is important & I’m so grateful to myself for saving it when I can because it has helped with some pretty big unexpected costs that would have put me further into debt had I not had it! It’s pretty annoying and demotivating starting a goal again but honestly it’s so worth it when something pops up and I don’t need to add to debt. My first goal for my starter emergency fund is £1,000 🎯 Once I reach this (and here’s hoping I don’t have to use it before I do 🤞) then I want to build an emergency fund that is 3 to 6 months worth of expenses just to give myself a bigger safety net. Breaking it down into smaller steps makes it feel so much more achievable for me. I’m now at 81% complete on my goal with 19% to go!
