LEMON CHEESECAKE OATS Topped with some strawberries because they are just always good 😍 Just had to share this comforting bowl today because the weather has been getting a little more chilly. Still wanting to preserve all the summer flavors tho 😅 - If you want a creamy and comforting bowl of oats then this is the recipe for you! - - Ingredients: 🍋 1/2 cup quick oats (54 g) 🍋 1 tbsp chia seeds (9 g) 🍋 1/2 cup hot water (125 ml) 🍋 1/2 cup milk of choice (oat milk, 125 ml) 🍋 1/2 tbsp (vegan) cream cheese (8 g) 🍋 a spritz of lemon juice (5 g) 🍋 1/2 tbsp sweetener (6 g) 🧀 1 tbsp (vegan) cream cheese (17 g) 🧀 2 tsp lemon juice (10 g) 🧀 1/2 tbsp sweetener (7 g) - To make this first soak the oats and chia seeds in the hot water for about 3 min. Then pour them to a pot and add the rest of the 🍋 ingredients. Bring it to a boil and simmer until the mixture thickens. For the cream cheese topping mix the 🧀 ingredients together until it has a smooth consistency. Pour oats into a bowl, then add the cream cheese mixture and your toppings of choice.
