Are you team Experiences or things? 🎁Read ⬇️ In our series titled Breaking The Shackles, we have been sharing some choices we made that have impacted our own lives. Today’s episode is all about Experiences vs Things 🎁 Both of us love and live for travel! So when we got married, we promised each other that instead of gifting things to each other for birthdays and anniversaries, we would save that money and spend it on new travel experiences each year! ✈️🌍Meeting new people, evolving together, and doing new and magical things together would be our “gift” to each other - and we’ve stuck to it for many years now. This simple decision truly unleashed magic in our lives! 🫶🌍 Because it made us realise that travelling the world is truly like exercising the mind because it makes you go out of your comfort zone, makes you less judgmental, and most importantly gives you stories and experiences that can NEVER be taken away from you, no matter what! 😊And I truly think these new experiences add so much to people who possess them ☺️🌍 So this is a little reminder to make a list of priorities that SUIT you (not society!) when you become financially independent.
