I actually still haven’t found the words for this caption. I was lost for words in the sky and still am. I will give it a go… It was just the most incredible experience, so very special and I feel like one of the luckiest people alive. We flew for 45 minutes over Bristol in very gentle winds, moving at just approx. 7mph. The perspective was something else; it really makes you realise how you really are a tiny dot in this world. I loved waving to the people down below, especially the kids! I couldn’t figure out if the kids or the parents were most excited when we waved back, but there were excited squeals of joy! I loved watching the horses running in the fields and a particular highlight was flying over @avrbitton which is one of our fave places to go every Christmas. We had a very gentle landing in a field and then I got to help pack away as I did to set the balloon up too. I FaceTimed my dad from the sky 😆 I wanted to share it with him! I learned how much dogs hate hot air balloons 🙈 I cried during the flight and after landing but managed to hide it haha. I felt really overwhelmed with it all, but in a fantastic way. A once in a lifetime experience but I want to do it again haha!
