ULTRA SMOOTH MASH, epi5, #BackToSchool So many tips on how to achieve the most creamiest and smoothest ultra smooth mash that tastes DELISH 😎 1. Whilst #russetpotatoes are the most ideal, use what you have! 2. Room temperature butter and cream or hot milk makes it extra smoooth! 3. Use a ricer or a masher! 4. Cook potatoes for 40 mins! Longer than usual, till fork tender. 5. If a whisk makes double cream creamy then it does so for mash too!! For my mash I used: ☘️2kg potatoes (red potatoes are softer and boil quicker) ☘️300ml double cream ☘️150g salted butter ☘️1tsp salt to taste ☘️1tsp mustard ☘️1tsp white pepper ☘️1 cup Parmesan cheese ☘️1tbsp butter to serve ☘️chives or parsley to serve 1. Boil potatoes with 2tsp salt for 40 mins and drain dry. Let it rest for five mins. 2. Add remaining ingredients, use mashed or ricer to smooth. 3. Use a whisk to cream it all together 4.
