☀️Hello Friday!!☀️ ‌ This week has honestly been one of the most beautiful weeks in Napa Valley. The cool, foggy mornings have given way to gorgeous sunny afternoons in the 80’s. And the sweet scent of harvest is in the air. It really doesn’t get much better. ☺️ ‌ ‌In honor of the golden child of weekdays, I’m going to pop open this Sauvignon Blanc I tasted a few weeks ago from Groth Vineyards. The grapes for the 2022 vintage come from Groth’s estate and other notable vineyards around Napa Valley. Fermented in neutral oak and aged sur lie for three months. A little bit of Semillon (14%) is added, rounding out the body. Tropical and citrus notes, and so well-balanced. A wine that screams to be opened on a glorious sunny 🤩 September afternoon! ‌ ▶︎ The 2022 Napa Sauvignon Blancs have already been showing so well. Do you have a favorite that I should get my hands on?
