Meet Pooh 🧸, one of our newest intakes 😔 from South Carolina. We wish we could say Pooh was found roaming the streets or was picked up by a good samaritan. But Pooh is an owner surrender 😢. Pooh was living in a home with a human being, and he nearly starved to death. This little skeleton boy was fed "once a day." Despite Pooh's significant neglect, he is loving all the attention from the doggos and caring humans in his foster home. Needless to say, Pooh will get a vet check-up to make sure he is not too far gone. He is also un-neutered, but that will change with time. We absolutely share your sentiments about the lack of care by Pooh's "person". But we ask you share only positive messages, because there is nothing we can do about it now. Pooh is safe. He will get the attention he has always deserved.
