I have been a very proud @nikoneurope Ambassador for a few years now, so when they said 'hey, fancy doing a collaboration together at Goodwood Revival?' I of course jumped at the chance. Their challenge: use a Nikon Zfc to create purely black and white images that could "Stand the Test of Time". I'd never picked up a Zfc before, let alone use one, so that was a challenge to begin with! For the camera nerds, it's a cropped frame mirrorless camera with a great retro design. I hadn't shot on a cropped frame camera for over 10 years! So this felt a lot different. I started the day by shooting on a borrowed 28mm f/2.8 lens before ending on my own 24mm f/1.4. The images in here are a mixture of the two. I shot everything in colour and then converted them to black and white afterwards. In terms of my image to Stand the Test of Time, I picked the opening shot of @william.heynes as his Jaguar heritage has been in and around a pit lane since the late 40s, so to photograph him in the Goodwood pit lane during the trials and tribulations of his first race looking after a car, felt quite meaningful to the brief.
