Almost exactly a year ago to the day, I saw Pearl Jam in Nashville, TN. This past Friday, my cousin Joe Baltimore and I traveled to Ft Worth, TX to see the best band on the planet again, and once again, they absolutely blow us away. Friday night’s show in Ft Worth was my 22nd PJ show, and I’d probably rank it somewhere in my all-time top 5. Like every other show on this tour, the setlist was incredible. They’re playing so many different songs every single night (I still can’t believe we got “Undone”!). It was also @themattcameron first show back after missing Wednesday due to COVID. He still killed it though. You could still hear the effects of @eddievedder flu, but only when he spoke to the crowd. His singing voice sounded perfect. The energy and emotion the band put in this performance was insane. You could tell they were feeling it Friday night. The vibe made it feel like they were playing in an empty room to just me, all while also playing to thousands of people. It’s an incredible feeling. There’s no other band like Pearl Jam, especially live. I swear they top themselves with each show. I feel very lucky to had been in attendance at @dickiesarena the other night. A huge shoutout to Mrs VinylWithDad for allowing me to make an “quick escape” while she stayed back with the kids. My cousin and I were only in Ft Worth for literately 24 hours, so we made the most of it before showtime. We checked out a few breweries, a killer record store, @docs_records, and even met up with some old friends.
