A very nice lunch at the new Premnord restaurant for the nice gathering around @beaucarnea.io concept. @yannickchamp introduced his new project that took a long time to be ready: his restaurant at Domaine Prieuré Roch. Absolutely beautiful in all ways with a magnificent central cellar in the main room. Very extensive wine list here with some cool references. It is not often that I’m given to taste the wines from this estate. Quite rare to find and not a kind of bottle our wine friends usually bring. Beautiful duo of 2019 Ladoix and Savigny-Les-Beaune, the latter has joined the estate property not long ago. I was very surprised to discover the purity of both wines. Amazing fruit profile and superb intensity with a clean character and focus. Savigny shows a bit more depth and dimension and is an amazing juice. Nothing much natty here, a little bit of stems but this is drinking amazingly well already with a touch of smoke. Definitely makes me want to drink more as I still have very little experience.
