Sometimes, when the night is dark and cold and coagulated I know your demons burn like dry ice a hole in your tender heart. But I beg of you, look at me, I beg of you to stay. I promise you there is more to this, I promise you that your best days are still undiscovered and there are adventure and animals and meals and friendship and coffee and sweaters and all things good in the world and all things quietly majestic and all things rapturous and bright still unearthed by any human waiting for you in this body and mind that so tenderly wrap themselves around you.
