❤️ Days 1 and 2 of #Ambedkar #university’s decolonial #sexuality conference in #Hindi and a beautifully chaotic and diverse Delhi. ❤️ Professor Brahm Prakash ji from #jnu opening the floor to what a subversion of the “male gaze” could be through an analysis of Bhojpuri sensational music today and Professor Jagdeeshwar Chaturvedi of #University of #Calcutta speaking of the need to have a discussion in the country on pornography and not shy away from it were key decolonial highlights including so many wonderful others. Decoloniality is a constant inner search, in my praxis, not one quick end result, so I find it heartening to participate in knowledge-building spaces where different fields talk to each other rather than staying only in our respective individual silos and agreeing just with our own echo chambers.
