River adventures. ❤️ . Last week was one crazy week. I’m grieving the loss of a past student, still trying to get my footing this school year, and just had a ton of things to do and meetings to go to. Pretty much, I ended up getting burnt out and you all know we as humans can’t pour from an empty cup. . My family also had a rough week. So, we decided to go on the new boat! Seeing Ezra’s face light up when he got to see Oma and Papa’s new, bigger boat made my heart so happy. And, I just watched the waves in the back the whole time and felt the sunlight. It was soothing and my soul felt warm too. . So, if your day or week is crappy don’t forget to set your soul right. Fill your cup. Do something that soothes your soul and fosters gratitude, even if it’s just for yourself. Be selfish.
