Introducing National Curriculum Framework's Impact on Class 10 & 12 Board Exams✨ 1️⃣Twice-Yearly Board Exams to reduce stress - This is actually a good move as it will distribute the evaluation process, reduce stress and students & help them choose the best score. They can appear for subjects they feel they have prepared well for. 2️⃣Revised and Reduced Syllabus for Focused Learning- The curriculum will be reduced and revised, further reducing the stress on students. 3️⃣Competency Assessment Over Rote Learning- Students will be evaluated on their practical application of knowledge, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking abilities instead of rote learning 4️⃣ 25% weightage on Demonstration-Based Assessment in Core Papers- In Science and other core subjects, 20-25% of the evaluation will be based on hands-on demonstration, such as conducting experiments. a 5️⃣ 70-75% of the evaluation being demonstration-based in Vocational Education, Art Education, Physical Education, and Well-being subjects will see a substantial shift - This approach empowers students to showcase their practical prowess and creativity. 6️⃣Redefining Question Paper Patterns for Skill Evaluation- A groundbreaking alteration in the question paper pattern is underway. Class 10 will witness 50% of questions being ability-based, while Class 12 will see 40%. This change reflects a commitment to evaluating students' true abilities and application of knowledge. .
